SECTION II.A: OBJECT OF THE CONTRACT (WORKS)
II.1) TITLE ATTRIBUTED TO THE CONTRACT BY THE CONTRACTING AUTHORITY: GM
Procure Internal and External Installer Framework.
II.2) TYPE OF CONTRACT AND LOCATION OF WORKS: Main site or location of
works: North of England - predominantly North West.

II.3) THIS NOTICE INVOLVES A FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT: yes.
II.4) SHORT DESCRIPTION OF NATURE AND SCOPE OF WORKS: GM Procure, in
association with Lancashire Housing Partnership and Cumbria Housing
Partners, are procuring a Framework Agreement, for the provision of labour
for various internal and external property works from August 2010. These
works shall be requried across the North West of England primarily.
The proposed Framework Agreement shall be put in place for a maximum
period of 4 years.
The following organisations shall be entitled to utilise the Framework
Agreement, as and when required:
1. GM Procures partners, members and customers, both current and future;
2. Lancashire Housing Partnerships partners, members and customers, both
current and future;
3. Cumbria Housing Partners partners, members and customers, both current
and future;
4. Other partners, members and customers, both current and future.
The organisations listed or referred to above have requirements primarily
within the North West of England. For more information about GM Procure,

Works shall be awarded via call-off contracts which may range from 1 000
GBP to 10 000 000 GBP.
Notwithstanding the above, applicants should note that, under the
Framework Agreement, none of the organisations that are entitled to use
the Framework Agreement shall be under any obligation to do so with
framework partners.
It is anticipated that GM Procure shall select multiple partners across
the framework, under the various lots.
Interested parties are advised that 'Meet the Buyer' events shall be held
on 17th / 18.11.2009. These are free events, which shall provide further
information on the opportunity available, details on how to successfully
complete the pre qualification questionnaire and provide you with an
opportunity to ask questions of the buyers face-to-face. The events shall
be held as follows:
17.11.2009: DW Stadium, Wigan - Session 1: 9:00am until 12:00pm; Session
2: 1:00pm until 4:00pm
18.11.2009: The Rheged Centre, Penrith - Session 1: 9:00am until 12:00pm;
Session 2: 1.00pm until 4:00pm.
