The 316th Contracting Squadron, Andrews AFB, Maryland, intends to award a sole source contract to Superior Landscaping to furnish all personnel, labor, equipment, transportation, tools, materials, supplies, supervision, management and other items and services necessary to perform grounds maintenance and landscape services to include snow and ice removal services at Joint Base Andrews Naval Air Facility Washington (JBANAFW) and its affiliated communication sites at Brandywine and Davidsonville, Maryland. The resulting contract will be firm-fixed price. The 316th Contracting Squadron intends to award a purchase order using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to authority of FAR 6.302-1. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and award to only one source. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
