This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that               appeared in DevelopmentBusiness, issue date: November 08, 2006

 

The Government of Georgia has prepared the Rural Development Project (RDP), with      the assistance of the World Bank and IFAD and it intends to apply part of the proceeds             ofthis loan to payments under the Contract for Procurement of Continuously Operating Reference System (CORS), ICB/RURAL/2009/C3.1

 

The Public Legal Entity - the World Bank Financed Georgian Agriculture           Development Projects Coordination Center (PCC) now invites sealed bids from     eligible and qualified bidders for Procurement of              style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">Continuously Operating Reference System (CORS) for the National Agency of   Public Registry (NAPR).

 

Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the WorldBank's Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries asdefined in the Guidelines.

 

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from LegalEntity UnderPublic Law # World Bank Financed Georgian Agriculture Development Projects Coordination Center (PCC), attn: Vakhtang Jaliashvili, Procurement  Specialist, (vakhtang.jaliashvili@adpcc.org.ge) and inspect the Bidding Documents at theaddress given below from 10:00 am # 5:00 pm, Local time.  

 

Qualifications requirements include: Bidder should demonstrate that it hascompleted supplies of Goods offered in the bid under one or morecontracts during the past 5 years and such Goods have been insuccessful use at least for past 1 year. A margin of preference for eligible national contractors shall not be applied. Additionalqualification requirements are provided in the Bidding Documents

The Bidding Documents will be sent by Courier Services. The electronic version of the bidding documents are available and can be sentupon payment of tender fee for hard copy.

 

Bids must be delivered to the address belowat or before December 21, 2009, 15:00 local time. Electronic biddingwill not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.  Bids will be opened in the presence ofthe bidders' representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below at (same as for bid submission).  All bids must be accompanied by a bid security with amount USD 13,000.00 or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency.
