The SocialistRepublic ofViet Nam has received acredit from the International Development Association toward thecost of Influenza Controland Pandemic Preparedness Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the Contract for Procurement of Computers and supplementary equipments(ICB B1.6.3). 2. The Central Project Management Unit (CPMU) now invites sealedbids fromeligible and qualified biddersfor Procurement of Computers and supplementary equipments for communes in the Project Site. 3. Biddingwill be conductedthrough the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specifiedin the World Bank's Guidelines:Procurementunder IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, May 2004, revised October2006 and are open toall bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined inthe Guidelines. 4. Interested eligible biddersmay obtain further information from CPMU and inspect the Bidding Documents at theaddress (1) given below from Monday through Friday from 08h00 to 11h30 and 13h30 to 16h30. 5. Qualificationsrequirements include: local after sales serviceand availability of consumables and spares; successful completion of at least two contracts involving the supply and installation of similar quantity and type ofequipment within the past three (3) years. A margin of preference for eligiblenational contractors shall be applied.Additional details are provided in the Bidding Documents. 6.
