RECOVERY PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSE ONLY. The U. S. Army Corp of Engineers Mobile District has a requirement to provide public water supply to Woodring Branch Public Use Area, Carters Project in Gilmer County, and intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, the City of Chatsworth Water Work Commission, 620 South 2nd Ave, P.O. Box 100 Chatsworth, GA 30705, under the authority of FAR 6.302. The project shall include a layout, installation and integration of a public water supply line to the Woodring Branch Public Use Area, Carters Project in Gilmer County, GA. Water will be supplied to the primitive campground, developed campground and day use area of Woodring Branch Public Use Area. American Reinvestment and Recovery Act Funds will be utilized for this project. Construction must be completed and the water line in service by 30 September 2010. It is anticipated that a Firm-Fixed-Price Contract will be awarded. The (NAICS) code is 221310 and size standard is $6.5 Mil.

Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All responses received within ten calendar days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
