OFFICE /VISITOR/OUTDOOR SPACE WANTED
The National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration is interested in leasing leasing approximately 1300 rental square feet of office, visitor and outdoor space for the National Ocean Service, Gulf of the Farallones National Marine Sanctuaries.  Space will be used as a visitor center to include inside and outside displays to enhance the public's awareness of the National Marine Sanctuaries Program.

The facility will consist of:

Office/Visitor Space 900 sq ft

Outdoor Space 400 sq ft

Outside parking 15 spaces

LEASE TERM:  Up to 10 years with negotiable termination rights by Government

DELINEATED AREA:

Beginning North at Pillar Point, ending South at Miramontes Point, West of State Route 1 to Oceanside, and East of State Route 1 to Half Moon Bay City limits.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Indoor space must have high ceilings for hanging exhibits and plumbing for aquaria.

Outdoor space must be within a protected area.

Space must be easily accessible to traveling public on State Route 1 or near an Activity Center within the delineated area.

Must be within walking distance to program field sites that include tidepools, beach, marsh, kayak and whale watching vendors as well as fishermen and their boats.

Space must be available 24 hours a day.
