The Government of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of the Aquatic Resource Development and Quality Improvement Project and it is intended that a part of the proceeds of this loan be applied to eligible payments under the contract for Supply & delivery of Chemicals and Fish Breeding Hormones.
The Chairman, Project Procurement Committee, Aquatic Resources Development and Quality Improvement Project now invites sealed bids for the following items from Manufacturers)/ Suppliers in Sri Lanka.
Interested bidders may obtain further information from the Aquatic Resource Development & Quality Improvement Project, Ministry of Fisheries & Aquatic Resources, 5th Floor, New Secretariat, Maligawatte, Colombo 10 and inspect the Bidding Documents between 9.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. during normal working days. A complete set of Bidding Documents (one original and one copy) may be purchased from 30th October 2009 to 19th November 2009 between 9.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. during normal working days by interested eligible Bidders on submission of a written application to the above office and upon payment of the relevant non refundable fee indicated above.
All bids must be delivered in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders before 14.00 hrs on 20th November 2009 Bids will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of Bidders or their authorized representatives who choose to attend.
