II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): Walsall
Supporting people Services wishes to invite suitably experienced and
qualified organisations to tender for two floating support services. The
two services are:
1. Offender Floating Support Service (maximum budget per annum 62 000,00
GBP The existing service is delivered by a Registerd Social Landlord. The
purpose of this service is to support offenders or people at risk of
offending to develop independence or sustain their capacity to do so.
2. Mental Health Floating Support Service (Maimum budget per annum 250
000,00 GBP. The existing service is delivered by a Registered Social
Landlord. The purpose of this service is to support people with mental
health issues as a primary need and people with substance misuse issues as
a secondary need to develop independance or sustain their capacity to do
so.
The contract will be for a period of two (2) years initially, 1.4.2010 to
31.3.2012 with the option to extend on an annual basis up to 31.3.2014.
