Minimum Specifications:

• Instrument must use a twenty position, ceramic carousel that is not susceptible to warping at temperature up to 1000°C.
• Instrument must be capable of performing up to nineteen (19) samples during one time analysis, and up to thirty eight (38) using a dual-furnace configuration.
• Instrument must use ceramic crucibles capable of holding macro samples sizes (50mg to 5g).
• Instrument must use an integrated four-place balance that is shielded and protected from any interference from other internal components.
• Instrument must provide balance readability to 0.0001 g.
• Instrument must perform a standard weight-loss for an inert sample with a precision of less than or equal to 0.02% std deviation. This test should be performed at various temperatures, flow rates and atmospheres.
• Instrument must provide a temperature range from ambient to 1000°C.
• Instrument must provide temperature resolution of +/- 2°C from 100 to 1000°C.
• Instrument must provide temperature readings at the location of the crucible.
• Instrument must provide a dedicated over-temp protection thermocouple for safety protection.
• Instrument must provide variable temperature ramp rate capabilities up to 50°C per minute.
• Instrument must provide service accessibility from the front of the instrument.
• Instrument must have a loading height of less than 14" from the bottom of the instrument.
• Instrument must use a pneumatic carousel mechanism for accurate crucible placement.
• Instrument must use a Windows-based operating software that supports compliance to 21 CFR Part 11 regulations, contains an on-board help manual and controls up to two separate furnace units.
• Instrument vendor must provide remote service diagnostics with a separate software package that is designed specifically to connect the user with the instrument vendor's service personnel.
• Vendor must have a factory trained service engineer with a factory training certificate for the support of the equipment.
• Installation, commissioning of equipment and operator's training at site be conducted by vendor's service engineer at PNOC EC's account.
• Item offered must be branded and brand new.
• Warranty: At least One (1) year on service and parts
• Vendor must include in the package training for one (1) operator at the factory.
