THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDERRECOVERY: PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR CONSTRUCTION PROJECT TO RENOVATE CANTEEN AT ALEXANDRIA VA MEDICAL CENTER, ALEXANDRIA, LA. This project is funded from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Alexandria VA Medical Center (VAMC), Alexandria, LA, anticipates award of a delivery order against the Job Order Construction (JOC) contract. The JOC contractor shall furnish all labor, materials and equipment to renovate the existing Canteen on the first floor of Building 8 at the VA Medical Center, Alexandria, Louisiana. All work will be accomplished in accordance with the delivery order statement of work, drawings and specifications. The delivery order award will be issued pursuant to 38 USC 8127 & Department of Veterans Affairs Information Letter 049-07-08, JOC contract VA256-C-0118 . The JOC contract was a sole source set-aside for a Service Disabled Veterans Owned Small Business firm (TL Services, Inc.).
