Applications are invited from reputed Suppliers, Manufacturers, Accredited Agents, Contractors, registered Service Establishments Workshops and garages who wish to register themselves with the Coconut Research Board (CRB) for the supply of items and for providing services listed below during the year 2010.
Conditions: 1) The applicants should forward separate applications for each item/ service for which he wishes to Register himself indicating the item/ service number and description as given in the advertisement in separate envelopes.
2) Applications should accompany with non-refundable remittance of Rs.200.00 as registration fee for each item/service. Payments should be in money orders changeable from "Lunuwila - 61150" post office. Payment of registration by cash to the Shroff, CRI during working days (between 9.30 a.m. - 3.00 p.m.) is also possible. Applications not accompanied with registration fee will not be considered.
3) CRB reserves the right to reject any application that does not meet the expected requirement.
4) Quotations will be called from the list of registered suppliers, but the Coconut Research Board reserves the right to obtain offers or invite tenders from those who have not registered with the CRB, when necessary.
5) Suppliers who fail to communicate when requested or fail to effect delivery regularly, or whose supplies are not in conformity with the specifications or samples, will be removed from the register of suppliers without notice.
6) Suppliers who fail to make supplies or render services after quoting will be removed from the register of suppliers without notice.
7) Priority is given to the suppliers, who wish to provide credit facilities to the Institute, when purchasing items and the amount and period of credit available, should be indicated in the application.
8) All envelopes containing the applications should be marked "Registration Of Suppliers And Contractors For 2010" and the item/service expected to be registered on the top left-hand corner and forward under Registered Post to the "Deputy Director (Adm. & Fin.), Coconut Research Institute, Bandirippuwa Estate, Lunuwila" to reach him on or before 30 November 2009.
