Scope of work The project site is located approximately 3 km to the North of Doha, south to the Qatar University. The location of the site in relation to it’s surrounding environment is shown on the relevant drawings in the tender documents.
The site is a partially developed residential area where numerous new developments are under construction including a temporary road network.
The major access roads as well as local distributor are connected with Markhiya Street and Arab Leage Street Towards South and West respectively and with Khafji Street and Jamaia Street towards North and East side respectively.
The work comprises with the construction of main roads as well as internal roads for packages 1,2, 3 and 4.The approximate length of roads according to the relevant packages are as follows:
Package 1 - 8,795.00 meters between 12 m to 30m corridor width and cul de sac.
Package 2 - 6,370.00 meters between 16m to 30 m corridor width and cul de sac.
Package 3 - 7,181metres between 16m to 30 m corridor width and cul desac.
Package 4 - 11,364 meters between 16m to 30 m corridor width and cul desac.
Package 5 – 1,700 meters between 12m to 16m corridor width
The works in Packages 1, 2, 3 and 4 consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

Site Clearance
Surface drainage, trench soakaway system and some connections to the positive system
Foul sewerage works
Land Drains works
TSE works
Earthworks
Granular sub-base
Asphalt works
Kerbing works, footpaths, and paved areas
Traffic signs and road markings
Public utility services: provision for future services; diversions and protection of existing
o Water works, full network
o Street lighting, full network
o Q-Tel works, full network
o Electricity works
