Note: Payment of a non-refundable cash fee of Rs. 1500 for each procurement.

The Chairman, Departmental Procurement Committee (DPC) invites sealed bids for following items from the recognized manufacturers, importers & authorized agents up to 2.30 p.m. on 13th November 2009.
Bidding document may be inspected free of charge up to the date & time. Bid forms could be obtained by producing on an official letter of request.
Bidding document & related particulars may be obtained from the supplies services unit of the Prisons Headquarters at 150, Baseline Road, Colombo 09, up to 12th November 2009 between 10.00 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. upon payment of a non-refundable cash fee of Rs. 1500 for each procurement.
Duly completed bid forms may either be sent under registered cover to reach the Chairman, Department Procurement Committee, Prisons Headquarters, 150, Baseline Road, Colombo 09, on or before 2.30 p.m. of the closing date of bidding or deposited in the bidding box provided at the supplies and services unit of the prison headquarters. The envelope containing quotation should be sealed and tender concerned should be clearly marked on the top left corner of the envelope.
Receiving of bids will be closed at 2.30 p.m. on 13th November 2009 and bidding will be opened immediately after the closing at the Auditorium of the Prison Headquarters. Bidders or their Authorized Representatives will be permitted to be present on the occasion.
