Applications are hereby invited from Manufacturers, Contractors, Distributors, Companies, Corporations and Co-operative Societies who wish to register themselves to supply the under mentioned goods, services and works for the Rajarata University of Sri Lanka at Mihintale and for its Faculty of Medicine at Saliyapura and Faculty of Agriculture at Puliyankulama for the year 2010.Applications should he prepared according to the specimen appended below and sent under registered cover with "Registration of Suppliers for goods, services and works for the year 2010" marked on top left-hand comer of the envelope to reach Deputy Bursar (Supplies), Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, Mihintale on or before 2nd December 2009.
Non-refundable fee of its. 2S0.00 per sub item should be enclosed with the applications. All payments should be made by money order drawn in favour of the Bursar, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka payable at the Mihintale Post Office. Applicants who do not satisfy the following conditions will not be considered
Relevant organization should be registered as business & copy of the certificate of registration should be attached.
If the intended supplier is a limited liability company, certificate of incorporation of the' company should be annexed with the application. If the intended supplier is an organization other than non-limited liability company, a copy of the certificate of registration should be attached. If the organization supplies goods/services, which are manufactured or produced by other organizations (principals), the authorization letter issued by the principal company should be attached.
Applicant should have at least three years' experience of supplying the relevant items (Goods/Service). The Registration certificate of ICTAD in connection with the construction contractors should be attached. Money Order.
Incomplete or applications without supporting documents will not be considered for registration. Every supplier should agree to provide a credit facility of at least for one month.
VAT Registration certificate or the VAT exemption certificate issued by the Commissioner General, Inland Revenue.
