HOSTED DEPARTURE CONTROL SYSTEM SERVICES. AS PER THE ATTACHED


Bahrain Airport Services (BAS) wishes to invite vendors to quote for the provision of a
robust, fully featured Hosted Departure Control System (DCS) solution includes the DCS
services and the end-to-end communications link; to be deployed and operated in Bahrain
International Airport (BIA), to handle BAS customer airlines as part of the ongoing
commitment to providing “Total Quality Ground Support”.
The system must have full DCS capabilities with integrated Check-in, Boarding and Load
Control functionality and is certified on all the major CUTE platforms, including those
from Ultra, SITA & ARINC.
The solution must include the communication link/connectivity (end to end) between the
host and the CUP data centre at Bahrain International Airport.

Bahrain Airport Services (BAS) (www.bas.com.bh) is a private sector Company,
established in 1977, to provide full Ground Handling, Cargo, Catering, and
Engineering Services to all Commercial Airlines, Charter Flights, Royal & Private Jets,
Courier & Cargo aircrafts operating from, to or transiting through Bahrain International
Airport. Since its inception, BAS has worked continuously to support Bahrain
International Airport expansion and in strengthening its position as a regional aviation
hub in the Middle East. With over 30 years experience BAS is an established, stable and
mature business with more than 2,400 highly experienced multi-national staff, most of
whom been with the company for over 30 years. More recently, BAS have expanded
internationally with the set up of a Joint Venture entity in Kuwait to provide full ground
handling services at Kuwait International Airport. BAS currently provide ground
handling support to 35 international airlines including, Gulf Air, BA, KLM, Lufthansa,
Air France, Cathay Pacific, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Eithad, Bahrain Air, Saudia,
Kuwait Airways, to name but a few.
