SECTION II: OBJECT OF THE CONTRACT
II.1) TITLE ATTRIBUTED TO THE CONTRACT BY THE CONTRACTING ENTITY:
F0215-117, Reykjanes Geothermal Power Plant, Phase 2, Civil Works.
II.2) TYPE OF CONTRACT: Works.
II.3) SHORT DESCRIPTION OF THE CONTRACT OR PURCHASE(S): HS Orka hf (HS),
former Hitaveita Sudurnesja hf is preparing to build an addition to
existing Reykjanes Geothermal Power Plant.
The plan is to install two new Steam Turbines, 2x50MW or 1x50MW plus
1x30MW.
HS will be seeking qualified contractors to participate in a negotiated
procedure.
Main functions will be: Erection and operation of camp site with offices,
warehouses etc., construction for additional power station buildings,
concrete foundation for pipelines for steam gathering systems, earthwork
for underground cables and pipe lines, laying of cables and pipes, site
finishing etc.
II.4) COMMON PROCUREMENT VOCABULARY (CPV): 45251100, 45251141.
II.7) CONTRACT COVERED BY THE GOVERNMENT PROCUREMENT AGREEMENT (GPA): No.
II.8) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: According to present time schedule the
award procedure will start in December 2009 or January 2010 and the work
shall be finished before end of wear 2011.
