II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): Tenders are
invited from competent and experienced suppliers for the supply of road
diesel, petrol through a fuel card system or other equivalent method of
recording transactions. For the purposes of this tender Louth County
Council will be the contracting authority for Louth Local Authorities,
which consists of Dundalk Town Council, Drogheda Borough Council and Louth
County Council.
The contract shall be for a two year period. The expected commencement
date of the contract is 1.1.2010.

as follows:
Approximately 400 000 litres of Diesel and 4 000 litres of petrol,
No guarantee is given that similar annual quantities of fuel will be
purchased during the lifetime of this contract, however the fleet will
remain similar in size and so this should prove to be an indicative
figure.
