The Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, has a need for a Commercial Contract for Operation and Maintenance Services of Fresh and Wastewater Treatment Systems at the Shenango and Mahaney Recreation Areas, Shenango Lake, Hermitage, Pennsylvania. Some of the services include, but are not limited to, operation, inspection, maintenance and repair of Treatment Systems; including emergency calls on all equipment in these fresh and wastewater systems. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small businesses (NAICS Code 221320; size standard is $7 Million). The period of performance will be from 1 Jan 2010 (or date of award, whichever is later) through 31 Dec 2010, with four one-year option periods. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor's Registration (CCR) database before receiving a contract award (go to www.ccr.gov to register). The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued approximately 2 Nov 2009 on-line only thru Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps); therefore requests for hardcopies of the specifications will not be honored. Request for this solicitation must be made by registering through FedBizOpps at https://www.fbo.gov. Once registered, vendors, plan rooms and printing companies will be able to download this solicitation on or after the above issuance date. This was previously advertised as W911WN10R0003
