SECOND INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID

The Office of the President, through the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), hereby invites interested parties to apply for eligibility and to bid for the procurement of one (1) Unit Fairway Mower (Gasoline Engine Driven), with the following technical specifications:


Quantity : One (1) unit

Minimum Specifications : Fairway Mower (convertible to Green Mower) 3-gang, with standard grass catchers, driven by 18.0 Hp gasoline engine with a piston displacement of 34.75 cu. in. (570 cc), 2-cylinder, air-cooled, 7.5 gals Fuel Tank Capacity, power or manual cable steering, 0 to 8.5 mph transport speed and 0 to 4 mph mowing speed, 18 x 9.50-8 2-ply pneumatic tires, with 60.0" overall cutting width, maximum weight of 1,300 lbs. with 2 years warranty.

Other technical specifications are indicated in the Bidding Documents.

The Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) is One Million Six Hundred Thousand Pesos (Php 1,600,000.00)

Eligibility and Bid/Tender Documents may be secured from the BAC Secretariat, General Government Administration Office (GGAO), Office of the President, Rm. 121 Ground Floor Mezzanine, Mabini Hall, Malacanang, Manila, Tel. Nos. 784-4286 loc 4914, 4124 and 4215, upon payment of the non-refundable fee of Php 5,000.00 beginning on October 20, 2009, Tuesday to October 27, 2009, Tuesday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 noon and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

A pre-bid conference for the purpose will be held on October 28, 2009, Wednesday at 10:00 AM at the GGAO Conference Room, M-121, Mabini Hall, Malacanang, Manila. Only those who have bought bidding documents will be allowed to participate in the pre-bid conference.

Deadline for the submission of the Eligibility and Bid/Tender Documents/Forms shall be on November 10, 2009, Tuesday at 12:00 noon at the said BAC Secretariat. The opening of bids will be held on the same day at 2:00 PM, GGAO Conference Room.

The Office of the President reserves the right to reject any or all bids, with or without cause, to waive any defect in them and to award to the bidder whose bid is the most advantageous to the government.
