The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), intends to negotiate a new firm fixed price (FFP) contract to be awarded on a sole source basis via Foreign Comparitive Testing Program to Nordic Ammunition Company (NAMMO), N-2831 Raufoss, Norway. This requirement is for the procurement of warheads and fuze assemblies of the M282 type 70-millimeter (mm) Multi Purpose Penetrator (MPP) warheads with Enhanced Electronic Delay (EED) fuzes for evaluation and for testing services. The M282 MPP was previously evaluated and accepted for use by the Foreign Comparative Test (FCT) program. The value of this effort is estimated at $1,900,000. The performance of the 70mm MPP with EED is being qualified by this FCT project. This contract will include a base period of six months, with one six month option period. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Upon negotiated award, the J&A will be posted on FBO.
