RECOVERY--Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and all things necessary to design, manufacture and supply excitation system, unit 4, Allatoona Powerhouse, Cartersville, Georgia.

The scope of work includes (but is not limited to): design, manufacture, prepare shop drawings, shop test, commission, provide training and spare parts, and deliver excitation system.

It is anticipated that a fixed-price contract will be awarded based on best value procedures. Source selection criteria will be included in the solicitation; therefore, detailed proposals will be required. This procurement is an unrestricted procurement. The NAICS is 335312; the size standard for which is 1000 employees. The solicitation will only be issued as a direct download at the following website: https://www.fedteds.gov. The solicitation is due to be posted on or about November 3, 2009. All prospective contractors, subcontractors and suppliers must be registered in FedTeDS before they will be allowed to download solicitation information. The solicitation will not be provided in a printed paper format, however, the Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when it is determined to be in the Governments best interest. Therefore, it is the offerors responsibility to check the website for solicitation posting and any changes to this solicitation. Those registering are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided.
