SECTION II: OBJECT OF THE CONTRACT
II.1) DESCRIPTION

framework agreement:

II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): North
Lincolnshire Council is looking to set up a professional services
consultancy framework. The successful supplier(s) appointed will be
required to provide a full range of General Building Services comprising
services for: Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Structural Engineering,
Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Surveying,
Landscape Architecture, CDM Co-ordinator, Contract Administration / Site
Supervision. Specialist building services are also included and some urban
planning, and environmental services may also be included. Subject to the
applications received, it is envisaged that three suppliers will be
appointed.
The services required may involve project management and may include for
all or any stages of work including feasibility, design and project
preparation and construction; responsive services including building
maintenance may also be required.

II.2) QUANTITY OR SCOPE OF THE CONTRACT
II.2.1) Total quantity or scope: The estimated value given below is the
value at current prices for the entire duration of 48 months and assuming
that all the services identified are procured under the framework
agreement. However, there is no guaranteed workload or guarantee that any
work will be awarded through the framework agreement; North Lincolnshire
Council also reserves the right to procure work outside the framework
agreement.

II.3) DURATION OF THE CONTRACT OR TIME-LIMIT FOR COMPLETION: Duration in
months: 48 (from the award of the contract).

III.1) CONDITIONS RELATING TO THE CONTRACT

generally be funded through public funds and grants, payment conditions

whom the contract is to be awarded: In the event of a group bid each party
in the bid is to take joint and several liability for the performance of
the framework agreement and any call offs. Detailed requirements are set

North Lincolnshire Council reserves the right at its discretion for one or
more other local authorities, social landlords registered with the Housing
Corporation, police authorities and fire authorities in the Yorkshire and
Humber Region (NUTS code UKE) to access the concluded framework agreement
without creating any obligation on behalf of any of them to do so. In that
event the concluded contractual arrangement would be between the local
authority, social landlord registered with the Housing Corporation, police
authority or fire authority as relevant accessing the framework agreement
and the consultant. Further details are given in the pre-qualification
questionnaire, memorandum of information and tender documents.
As indicated in II.1.9 variants above will NOT be accepted, this relates
only to Tenders for appointment to the framework agreement; variants may
be considered for some call offs under the framework agreement.
The contracting authority does not accept any liability for any costs
incurred by candidates or tenderers. The contracting authority reserves
the right not to make an award.
