The United States Postal Service hereby serves notice of its intent to solicit proposals for an alternative location of the Alexandria, VA � Park Fairfax Station Post Office. This relocation is a result of the expiring lease rights at the current location at 3682 King St., Alexandria, VA 22302 In accordance with the aforesaid, the US Postal Service has issued: Solicitation #: 362575-10-A-P001 Seeking 3,000 square feet leased space in an existing building on a suitable site, together with a dock or other provision for truck loading and unloading plus available parking for approximately 25 passenger vehicles. The building must meet Federal Handicapped Accessibility Standards at the time of occupancy or be capable of being modified to meet such. The building/site should be properly zoned or capable of being rezoned for use as a postal facility. All offers must be submitted on the proper U.S. Postal Service forms. PREFERRED AREA: In Zip Code 22302 of Alexandria, VA or in an area generally bounded by West Glebe Rd on the North, North Quaker Lane on the West, Russell Rd on the East and Janneys Lane to the South. Annual lease rate must be provided including an estimate of any additional real estate operational expense. Proposals should be received by the U.S. Postal Service at the above address no later than close of business, 4:00 p.m., November 20, 2009 at the above address. The Postal Service invites and will consider public comment until November 20, 2009.
