Specific Procurement Notice (SPN) Invitation for Bids (IFB) REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA Municipal Water and Wastewater Project II Credit No. 4514-AM Procurement of Pipes, Valves and Fittings ICB No. MWWP II-C2.4 /2-06 (4 lots) 1. ThisInvitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in UN Development Business posted on-lineon 27 March 2009. 2. The Republic of Armenia hasreceived a credit from the International Development Association toward the costof Municipal Water and Wastewater ProjectII, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments underthe Contract for Procurement of Pipes, Valves and Fittingsunder ICB No. MWWP II-C2.4/2-06 (4 lots). 3. The Armenia Water and Sewerage CJSC (AWSC) now invites sealed bids fromeligible and qualified bidders for supply of following lots: Lot 1 # PE Pipes; Lot 2 # PVC Pipes; Lot 3 # Valves; Lot 4 #Fittings. Bidders may bid for one or more lots under thisinvitation. Each lot shall be evaluated and contract awarded separately to the firm(s) offering the lowest evaluated total pricefor each lot. The delivery period should be: Lot 1 # Earliest Delivery Date 30days Latest Delivery Date 180 days; Lot 2 # Earliest Delivery Date 30days Latest Delivery Date 120 days; Lot 3 # Earliest Delivery Date 30days Latest Delivery Date 100 days; Lot 4 # Earliest Delivery Date 30days Latest Delivery Date 100 days. 4. Biddingwill be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) a procedure specified in the World Bank's Guidelines:Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in theGuidelines. 5. Interested eligible bidders may obtainfurther information from Armenia Water and SewerageCJSC and inspect the Bidding Documents at the addressgiven below from 09.00AM to 5.00 PM. 6. Qualifications requirements include: - Min 3 years experience in manufacturing and/or 3 years in supplying ofsimilar
goods; - Min 1 successfully implemented similar contracts in the last 3years;
- Min amount of liquid assets and/or credit line shall be:
Lot 1 # US$200,000.00; Lot 2 # US$90,000.00; Lot 3 # US$80,000.00; Lot 4 # US$70,000.00 - The local suppliers also must submit the Statement from the Tax Inspectorate,that the Company has no debt to the State budget.
