II.1.4) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): EirGrid intends
to complete a contract for the supply of energy (Electricity and Gas) to
EirGrid sites under the following Lots;
Lot 1 – Electricity Supply.
This includes supply to the following sites;
— EirGrid Head Office, The Oval Block 2, 160 Shelbourne Road, Dublin 4,
— Block 2 Floor 2, Deansgrange Business Park, Kill Lane, Deansgrange,
Dublin,
— Regional Information Office, 1 Newbridge, Navan, Co. Meath.
EirGrid has only one regional information office at present, however this
may change during the course of the contract. Any/All new offices will
have usage similar to the Navan office listed above.
Estimated combined annual electricity usage 2 800 000 kWh’s.
Lot 2 – Gas Supply.
This includes supply to the following sites;
— EirGrid Head Office, The Oval Block 2, 160 Shelbourne Road, Dublin 4.
EirGrid has no regional information offices requiring gas at present
however this situation may change during the course of the contract. If
EirGrid should open any new offices during the course of this contract we
would like to extend our agreement to the new site(s).
Estimated annual gas usage 200 000 kWh’s.
