II.1.4) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): The Commission
for Taxi Regulation had a requirement for a contractor to provide small
public service vehicle (SPSV) licensing and vehicle suitability assessment
services, including payment processing, validation of supporting
documentation, data entry and vehicle inspection against suitability
criteria on behalf of the Commission. To this end the Commission
advertised for expressions of interest on eTenders and OJEU (ref: 2009/S
83-119927) on 29.4.2009 in order to establish a framework agreement for
the provision of services over a 4 year period commencing in January 2010,
with the award of an initial contract for one year with continuous
performance reviews and annual renewals for the lifetime of the framework.
The restricted procedure was followed and a letter of intent to the
successful tenderer was issued on 27.8.2009.
