Tenders are invited from candidates experienced in the trade and residing within the area of authority of Dehiwala Mount Lavinia to lease out for a period of 02 years to operate regularly common canteen of the Urban Council at Anagarika Dhattnapala Mawatha on welfare basis and to operate canteen at S. De S. Memorial Theatre only when there are festivals.
Relevant Tender forms and documents containing tender conditions could he obtained up to 3.00 p.m. on 19.11.2009 from Sports and Recreation Welfare Department on payment of Non-Refundable Form Fee of Rs.500/=, (Value Added Tax and Nation Building Tax will be levied in addition to the fee) and a refundable deposit of Rs.5000/=.
Sealed tenders could either be sent by Registered Post addressed to "Municipal Commissioner", Municipal Council Dehiwala - Mount Lavinia or be deposited in the tender box kept at the office of Municipal Commissioner to receive before 10.00 a.m. on 20.11.2009. Tender opening will be at 10.30 a.m. on the same day.
“Invitation of Tenders for Managing Canteens" should be mentioned on the top left corner of the envelope containing the tenders.
