Applications are invited from reputed Suppliers, Government Organizations, Manufacturers, Importers, Wholesalers, Agents, Companies and other individuals who wish to register themselves with the Southern Development Authority of Sri Lanka (SDA) for the procurement and services of items described below.
Applications should be sent indicating the following particulars

Quotations will normally be called from registered suppliers. However, the SDA reserves the right to obtain quotations and make purchases / obtain services from un-registered suppliers, on special occasions, if necessary, the names of registered suppliers who fail to respond promptly and/ or fail to carry out the job satisfactorily in accordance with the specifications or those who supply substandard goods / materials will be struck off from the list of registration without notice.
Applications should be forwarded under Registered Cover, together with a Non-Refundable Registration Fee of Rs.300/ = (for Each Items of Goods and Services quoted for) paid by a cheque drawn in favour of Southern Development Authority of Sri Lanka or a receipt issued by the Accountant of the SDA for deposits in cash. (Money orders will not be accepted).
Applications should reach the Chairman / Director General on or before 2.00 p.m. on 16.11.2009. Late applications will not be considered for registration. The top left hand corner of the envelope should be marked as "Registration of Suppliers - 2010".
The Chairman/ Director General of the Southern Development Authority of Sri Lanka reserves the right to reject any application for registration of suppliers for the year 2010 without any notice and his decision would be final in this regard.
