SECTION II: OBJECT OF THE CONTRACT
II.1) DESCRIPTION
II.1.1) Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority:
Award of contract for successive purchases of electrical energy 2009 to
2013.
II.1.2) Type of contract and location of works, place of delivery or of
performance: Supplies.

Main place of delivery: Henrik Ibsens gate 1, Oslo og Finsetveien 2, Mo i
Rana.
II.1.4) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): The National
Library wanted offers on a contract for the delivery of electrical power
at the institutions leased facilities at Finsetveien 2 Mo i Rana and
Henrik Ibsens gate 1 and Observatoriegaten 1 in Oslo: The contract period
reaches from august 2009 until august 2013 if the options for prolonging
the contract period by 2 times 1 year is added. The procedure is an open
tender above national limit, for a 2 year fixed price contract with an
option for prolonging the contract period by 2 times 1 year, or
alterbatively a 3 year fixed price contract with an option for prolonging
the contract period by 1 year. Only renewable (Green) energy should be
offered. Consumption in 2008 was estimated at about 6,5 mill. kWh. The new
contracts will start running f1/8-09.

SECTION VI: COMPLEMENTARY INFORMATION
VI.2) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Value of contract is estimated based on an
expected of 6.500.000 kWh. The value is calculated by multiplying yearly
consumption with the offered fixed price for the first 2 years and adding
costs for the next 2 one year options for prolongig the contract based on
a price prognosis for expected market price development. This prognosis
was aquired in advance of the competition.
Value of contract is calculated based on a fixed price contract the first
2 years and floating prices the last 2 optional prolonged contract
periods. The contract has 2 optional prolongations of the contract period
each by 1 additional year.
