You should be able to supply Chemical Weeding during the months of April
through to October each year for the life of the Agreement, for the
purpose of vegetation control through herbicide spraying of restock sites.
This will be in the form of:
— Pre-preparation spraying of clearfell sites with a hydraulic sprayer
and/or rotary atomiser, using overall & band spraying methods,
— Spraying of newly planted conifer & broadleaf trees with a knapsack

TITLE: CYC West
1) SHORT DESCRIPTION: For CYC West location - see map.
The Forestry Commission (FC) will be awarding this Framework Agreement to
suppliers who will be able to provide the specific services as part of the
Agreement. This will involve the provision of Chemical Weeding in Coed y
Mynydd, Coed y Gororau, Llanymddyfri and Coed y Cymoedd Forest Districts.
You should be able to supply Chemical Weeding during the months of April
through to October each year for the life of the Agreement, for the
purpose of vegetation control through herbicide spraying of restock sites.
This will be in the form of:
— Pre-preparation spraying of clearfell sites with a hydraulic sprayer
and/or rotary atomiser, using overall & band spraying methods,
— Spraying of newly planted conifer & broadleaf trees with a knapsack
sprayer, using spot & overall spraying methods.
2) COMMON PROCUREMENT VOCABULARY (CPV): 77000000.
3) QUANTITY OR SCOPE: Minimum 50 hectares per annum.
Maximum 200 hectares per annum.
These are indicative amounts.
Estimated cost excluding VAT:
Range: between 25 000 and 107 640 GBP.

VI.4.2) Lodging of appeals: Precise information on deadline(s) for
lodging appeals: The Forestry Commission will incorporate a minimum of 10
calendar days standstill period at the point of information on the award
of the contract is commuicated to tenderers. This period allows
unsuccessful tenderers to seek further debriefing from the contracting
authorirty before the contract is entered into. Applicants have 2 working
days from the notification of the award decision to reqeust additional
debriefing and that information has to be provided a minimum of 3 working
days before the expiry of the standstill period. Such additional
