NAICS Code: 238220 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Office of Acquisition Management (OAM), for Facilities Management and Services Division (FMSD), in Washington, DC, intends to award a Purchase Order to EMCOR Government Services Inc, of Arlington, VA under the authority ofFederal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The purpose of this purchase order is to install and service a 12 ton condensing unit to serve four individual ductless evaporator units in the EPA studio area, as well as all of the peripheral work/equipment to be operational. The proposed equipment will require a service contract for regular maintenance and repairs. EMCOR currently holds a service contract with Facilities for all of Headquarters' supplemental A/C units including all computer rooms and special spaces. The new equipment must be added to the existing service contract. Facilities requires that EMCOR install the equipment in order to maintain warranties and provide seamless operation of the equipment. Also EMCOR's technicians have the required security clearance to EPA space. Adding another vendor would be a duplication of services. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238220. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. It has been determined that EMCOR Government Services is uniquely qualified to satisfy the Government's requirement as they currently have the existing service contract for this type of equipment/service for EPA. To add this equipment to the service contract requires EMCOR to install the equipment in order to maintain warranties and provide seamless operation of the equipment. Notwithstanding, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement, as stated herein, may submit their corporate capabilities, which, if received by the response date of this announcement, may be considered. Responses to this posting must be in writing and submitted to Rose Green, Contracting Officer, to green.rose@epa.gov. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All questions should be directed to Rose Green, Contracting Officer, via e-mail to green.rose@epa.gov.
