RECOVERY: PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF PHOTOVOLTAIC SOLAR ARRAYS AND ASSOCIATED APPURTENANCES, LOCATED IN MESA COUNTY, COLORADOTHIS PROJECT IS FUNDED FROM THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) (RECOVERY ACT) OF 2009.The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) intends to issue a Invitation for Bid (IFB) to award a single, firm fixed-price contract for the construction of photovoltaic solar arrays located in Grand Junction, Mesa County, ColoradoThe North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 238990, with a standard size of $14.0M.The cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000,000. The anticipated period of performance is 60 calendar days from Notice to Proceed.This acquisition will be advertised as a HubZone set-aside under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The HUBZone preference IAW FAR 19.1307 applies. This announcement serves as the advanced notice for the project. For amendments and updates, register or update the registration at the FedConnect website at http://www.fedconnect.net. The solicitation will be posted on or after October 22, 2009.
