II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): The successful
contractor will be required to deliver and collect cash (which term
includes bank notes, coins, and cheques and other associated
documentation) from nominated Council premises within the boundaries of
the Borough of Gateshead and also from nominated locations within the
Northumbria Police area (which covers the County of Northumberland and the
former Metropolitan County of Tyne and Wear), then convey and deposit the
cash collected to a facility to be nominated as fit for the purpose by the
Tenderer.
