provide support for the 22 FIS in Wales to continue to achieve the minimum
standards for all these services. This will be by means of:
i. Completion of a needs assessment for each CIS to inform a programme of
support and development;
ii. One-to-one consultancy;
iii. Running quarterly CIS meetings;
iv. Running networking meetings on specific identified issues;
v. Giving advice on launch of new services;
vi. Facilitating training sessions;
vii. Disseminating good practice;
viii. Consultation and planning work programmes;
ix. To provide assistance with continuing implementation of the Childcare
Act 2006 Guidance.
This contract will be available for use by other government departments
and associated bodies with the prior written approval of the Authority.
