This is a pre-solicitation notice and it does not constitute a solicitation.

The Government intends to issue Solicitation W52P1J-09-R-0248 for the performance of the Supply Support Activity which consists of warehouse operations for all serviceable and unserviceable U.S. equipment and Classes of Supply with the exception of Class I (Subsistence), Class IIIB (Bulk Fuel), Class V (Ammunition), Class VI (Personal Demand Items), Class VII (Major End Items), Class VIII (Medical), and COMSEC (Communications Security) controlled items and equipment. The location of the worksite is Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. This effort is in support of the 1st Theater Sustainment Command.

This requirement had been previously posted as the pre-solicitation notice for draft Solicitation W52P1J-08-R-0205 and has been cancelled. Anything pertaining to W52P1J-08-R-0205 is for information purposes only and is non-binding to the Government. All future reference to the SSA requirement will be referred by Solicitation number W52P1J-09-R-0248.

There will be no Set Aside for the solicitation. The estimated issue date of solicitation W52P1J-09-R-0248 is 30 Oct 09. The contract resulting from the proposed solicitation will be priced as a hybrid Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) with a performance based incentive fee. The period of performance shall be five (5) years (Base Period & 4 Options). This solicitation shall be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 5.204, therefore hardcopies will not be provided.

CAUTION: This solicitation shall be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access FedBizOpps to obtain the solicitation and any amendments, which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them by the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of the same.
