SPECIFIC PROCUREMENT NOTICE

1.           This Invitationfor Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for thisProject that appeared in Development Business, issue no. WB 1926-727 of May 08^th, 2008.

2.           The Governmentof the Socialist Republic of Vietnam has received a credit from the International Development Association in various currencies toward the cost of the RURAL DISTRIBUTION PROJECT, and it intends toapply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the Contract.

3.           The POWERCOMPANY No 1 (PC1) under VIETNAMELECTRICITY now invites sealed bidsfrom eligible and qualified bidders for Materials and Equipment for Thanh Nong 110kV Overhead Line and Substation as follows:

PackagePC1-110-TN-G04: Conductors for 110kV Overhead Line

which will be built in Hoa Binh of RURAL DISTRIBUTION PROJECT in NORTHERN region of Vietnam.

4.           Bidding will beconducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: ProcurementunderIBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines.

5.                  Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information fromPower Network Project Management Board and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 16^th October, 2009.
