22 units of accommodation based support for young people aged 16-25 in
existing accommodation.
10 of these units to be for young people requiring a high level of support
and 24 hour staff cover at Cobwell Road and 12 units to be for young
people requiring a low level of support at Wright Wilson Street (an
average of 3.5 direct support hours per person per week to be delivered).
The contract value will not exceed 250 000 GBP per annum
The contracts for these housing related support services are intended to
run from 5.7.2010. The contract length will be for a period of 2 years,
with an option to extend at the Council's sole discretion for an
additional period of up to 12 months and a possible subsequent extension
of up to a further 12 months).
These will be short term services. It is anticipated that the average
length of stay will be approximately 6 - 12 months with a maximum stay of
2 years.
Service users will be young homeless people aged 16-25 years with housing
related support needs. Any young people aged 16 or 17 who are referred to
these services should be referred to the local Children's Services for a
Child in Need Assessment if they have not already had this assessment.
The organisation must have experience of providing similar services for
this client group.
Sufficient levels of support must be available on site during the day and
evenings including weekends. Overnight cover is also required and could be
provided in a variety of ways including cover that is funded through
Housing benefit eligible service charges.
TUPE may apply to certain employees of the current service provider for
lots 1 - 7 (inclusive).

The contracts for these housing related support services are intended to
run from 5.7.2010. The contract length will be for a period of 2 years,
with an option to extend at the Council's sole discretion for an
additional period of up to 12 months and a possible subsequent extension
of up to a further 12 months).
These will be short term services. It is anticipated that the average
length of stay will be approximately 6 - 12 months with a maximum stay of

17 units of accommodation based support for teenage parents aged 16-19. 7
units to be provided in existing self contained accommodation, 4 in
Worksop and 3 in Retford. The support provider will be required to
identify the remaining 10 units of accommodation, distributed mainly
between Worksop and Retford.
Organisations must be able to demonstrate the guaranteed availability of
these accommodation units by the contract start date. The service will
provide an average of 6 hours direct support (per person) per week.

This is a new development with an anticipated completion date of June
2010. The contract will start following this date. The service will
provide an average of 6 hours direct support (per person) per week.
The contracts for these housing related support services are intended to
run from 5.7.2010. The contract length will be for a period of 2 years,
with an option to extend at the Council's sole discretion for an
additional period of up to 12 months and a possible subsequent extension
of up to a further 12 months).
These will be short term services. It is anticipated that the average
length of stay will be approximately 12 months with a maximum stay of 2
years.
Service users will be teenage parents or pregnant young women aged 16-19
years with housing related support needs.
Partners of teenage parents should be able to share the accommodation if
the teenage parent wishes.
The organisation must have experience of providing similar services for
this client group.
Staffing arrangements must be flexible to ensure that visits can be
available at a time suitable for service users. This may include some
evening and weekends, cover arrangements must be available for staff
absences.
TUPE may apply to certain employees of the current service provider for
lots 14 & 15.

A flexible support service will be provided to service users in their own
home (or other appropriate location). Staffing arrangements must be
flexible to ensure that visits can be arranged at a time suitable for
service users. This may include some evening and weekends, cover
arrangements must be available for staff absences.
TUPE may apply to certain employees of the current service provider for
lots 17 - 19 (inclusive).
