The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is issuing this Request For Information (RFI) to a identify Service Disabled Veteran Owned (SDVO) businesses capable of providing Design, Build-out and Fabrication of a Technology Display Wall.  The FBI will not award a contract or pay for the information received in response to THIS SOURCE Sought Notice.  The information received as a result of this request will serve as a market and technology survey to assist the FBI in its development strategy for procuring Design, Build-out, and Fabrication/Install of a Technology Display Wall.

CONTEMPLATED PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 

The contemplated period of performance (POP) for this effort is a six-month period.

 
CONTEMPLATED PLACE  OF PERFORMANCE  

The work will be performed on-site at FBI facilities in Quantico, VA.

 

•1        BACKGROUND:  

 

The Operational Technology Division provides the vision, leadership, and direction to ensure the operational availability of state-of-the-art technologies, support and expertise necessary to enable and enhance the FBI's investigative efforts as well as ensuring the application of forensics services related to the collection processing and exploitation of computer, audio, video media in the Counterintelligence, Counterterrorism, Criminal Investigative and Cyber programs.

 
•2        CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS

 •2.1    Contractor personnel shall have a minimum of two years experience in relevant fields, such as design, displays, fabrication, and museums. 

 

•3        CONTEMPLATED REQUIREMENT

 The responsibilities for the contemplated requirement are addressed below.   Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following requirements:

•3.1.1      
Design the layout for a 35-foot display wall including physical objects (approximately 15-20 items) depicting the history of the use of technology in investigation.

•3.1.2      
Build-out the design.

•3.1.3      
Fabricate/Install the display.

There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation as a result of this RFI.  This is being issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation.  In accordance with FAR 15.202(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.  Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI.  Responses to this RFI will not be returned.  Respondents will not be notified of the result of the review.

 

GOAL

 The goal of this RFI is to establish the most efficient way to procure Design, Build-out and Fabrication/Implementation of a Technology Wall and to assist the FBI with establishing a qualified source list of contractors that have knowledge, experience, and personnel necessary to meet the FBI's requirements.

 

HOW TO RESPOND:  

 The Government would like to know what SDVO businesses can provide all the services for this contemplated requirement by identifying themselves and responding to this RFI.  The Government requests the following information:

 

•1)     Company name and business size.

•2)     Provide evidence to show that your company can provide the requested services (i.e. technical ability, personnel, experience).  Do not exceed 10 pages. All submissions shall be unclassified.

•3)     Address whether your company has a GSA Schedule and if they are capable of providing these services on schedule.  If able to provide the services on schedule, what schedule and SIN.

•4)     Any other comments, concerns, and/or questions relating to the contemplated services.
