WATER SECTOR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME REQUESTFOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) TENDER NO AE/033/2008-09/CS/32 FOR PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR SUPERVISION OF DEEP BORE HOLES DRILLING, DESIGN REVIEW 7 CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISION OFWATER SUPPLY WORKS AT KIMBIJI AND MPERA 1. This request for expression of interestfollows the General Procurement Notice for WSDP that appeared in the United Nations Development Business, under notice no.WB320-696/07 of 17 January, 2007. 2. The Government of the United Republic ofTanzania has received financing from Development Partners toward the cost of the Water Sector Development Programme and intended to apply part of the proceeds for consultantservices. The services include: supervision of groundwaterdrilling works, design review and construction supervision of watersupply works at Kimbiji and Mpera. 3. The Dar esSalaam Water and Sewerage Authority (DAWASA) now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing theaboveservices. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services(brochures, descriptions of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, the namesand contact address of clients served,availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc). Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications. 4. A Consultant will be selected in accordancewith the procedures set out in the World Bank's Guidelines: Selection and Employment ofConsultants by World Bank Borrowers dated May 2004; Revised October 2006. 5. Interestedconsultants may obtain further information at the addressbelow during office hours from 8:00 to 15:30 hours, Mondays to Fridaysinclusive, except on public holidays. 6.
