The Office of International Programs (OIP), within the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), on behalf of the Department of Transportation (USDOT), plans to award a contract with a one year base period of performance and a one year Option Period (total potential period of performance of two years) to provide support service in the field of highway construction, administration, and maintenance, and such other allied fields of highway planning and design as the Minister of Public Works for Kuwait may request from time to time. The work requires skilled, knowledgeable, experienced subject matter experts and managers who possess project management skills and credible subject matter expertise. The contractor shall keep abreast of new techniques or methods, and shall assist in any other manner in advancing the program for the development of highways in Kuwait. FHWA is conducting market research so it can make informed acquisition decisions that will yield the best contractor.
