This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) intends to issue a Request for Quotes (RFQ) to Construct an Alkalinity Concrete Slab for the Enhancement Lime Mill Building, at the Warm Springs National Fish Hatchery, Warm Springs, GA. Performance of work shall be in accordance with the specifications within the RFQ. Work will include but not be limited to clearing the site of vegetation, installation and stabilizing forms, supplying and installing gravel, vapor barrier, rebar, wire mesh, performing work in a manner that will allow the owner to install underground piping as required and the removal of debris from the site upon completion. The NAICS CODE is 238110. The Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The Small Business Size Standard is $14 Million. A firm fixed-price purchase order will be awarded as a result of this solicitation. The anticipated issue date is on or about October 14, 2009. The RFQ may be accessed at the National Business Center website at www.ideasec.nbc.gov or the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fbo.gov. Responses to the RFQ will not be accepted electronically. Failure to comply will result in immediate rejection of the quote. Once the RFQ is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review these sites frequently for any amendments to any and all documents issued. It is anticipated that MS Word and Adobe Acrobat Reader will be required to download RFQ documents. To be eligible for award, quoters must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at http://www.bpn.gov and must complete online Representations and Certifications in the ORCA database. Quoters must also have a DUNS number from Dun and Bradstreet, http://www.dnb.com. Telephone requests for the RFQ will not be accepted. All quotes must be received in the office specified not later than the date and time appearing in the RFQ or amendments thereto.
