SECTION II: OBJECT OF THE CONTRACT
II.1) DESCRIPTION
II.1.1) Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority:
31171 Bjørkelangen Sixth Form College – New building and reconstruction,
Electrical work.
II.1.2) Type of contract and location of works, place of delivery or of
performance: Works.
Realisation, by whatever means of work, corresponding to the requirements
specified by the contracting authorities.
Main site or location of works: Bjørkelangen videregående skole, NO-1940
Bjørkelangen, Norway.
II.1.4) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): The project
includes a new addition to building A and a new addition to building F.
Sections of existing buildings A and B shall be reconstructed and improved
and a new heating plant, alternatively bio fuel plant or heat pump
installation, shall be installed.
New building:
Addition to building A contains lecture rooms, study facilities, offices,
conference rooms, workrooms for teachers and bio rooms. Area approx. 1 300
m². Addition to building F contains storage for sports equipment. Area
approx. 80 m². The new building’s main structures shall be made of
concrete and glass.
Existing buildings:
The existing buildings have defects and limitations in relation to indoor
climate, technical plants and fire alarm installations. For building A,
only necessary works in connection with the new addition and nature study
rooms shall be carried out. The reconstruction works for building B shall
be carried out for half of the building. Building E shall be demolished.
The existing buildings are made mainly of concrete. Access to the school
is from national road 115.
