This procurement is an Enhanced Use Lease (EUL) opportunity at the Roseburg Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Roseburg, OR. This project consists of up to nine (9) acres of land at the VA Northwest Health Network Roseburg Campus, which is located in Roseburg, OR. VAs objective for this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to receive proposals from Offerors/Lessees offering to redevelop up to the available nine (9) acres at the EUL Site under a long-term ground lease agreement with VA for up to seventy-five (75) years. In return for a long-term lease of the property, the Offeror will provide fair consideration to VA. VAs primary objective in leasing the property is for a selected developer to establish and, thereby, increase the number of housing units with on-site supportive services available to homeless Veterans, including those at imminent risk of homelessness, and eligible non-Veterans. RFP VA-101-09-RP-0132 (Roseburg) proposal response date is hereby extended from 12/08/2009 to 01/14/2010. A phase 1 environmental site assessment determined additional testing was required.
