Notice of Sole Source Intent. This is a sole source requirement in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. Naval Criminal Investigative Service Acquisition Division intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Union Leasing for a 170 vehicle lease. This solicitation for commercial items is prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. This action is solicited as an unrestricted solicitation. Award of this requirement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, Acquistion of Commercial Items. The anticipated award date is 28 Sep 2009. A determination not to compete this procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
