VA-262-09-RQ-0568 The VA Network 22 Logistic Office intends to enter into sole source procurement with Government Scientific Source. This proposed contract action is being conducted under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, incorporates provisions and clauses as those in effect. This procurement is for Dual Draft Elevating work Stations. Because of the renovation of Necropsy research room, the other companies that provide similar products can't retrofit their equipment to satisfy the government's needs. It would cost the government unnecessary time and cost if another similar product was purchased. The specifications and dimensions are: ME 400- 60" L x 29" D x 77.5" H, Adjustable Standing or Sitting Height of 33.5" to 45.5" H, Provides Down and Back draft Ventilation, Standard Features Include Fixture, W/Swing Spout, Inch Centimeter Rule, Magnetic Tool bar, Paper Towel Dispenser, One Large/One Small, Organizer Bin, 12" Adjustable Shelf, Fluorescent Light, G.F.C.I. Outlet, Dissecting Board, Perforated Grid Plates, Back draft Grill, Downdraft chamber and elevating base. MO 008- Full perimeter rinse , Control valve provided for water flow adjustment, Atmospheric vacuum breaker protection provided and built-into fixture. MB 011- 11" x 12" Lexan shield on flexible arm for easy positioning, Removable. MO 015- Two, halogen lighting system, 20 watts, Overhead mount with 20" flexible arm. MO 116- Camera stand *vertical camera stand with X-Axis and Y-Axis adjustment arm, able to support 35mm and digital camera. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely by the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document exist and no telephone inquiries will be accepted.
