The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC USAR DOC NORTH), Fort McCoy, WI intends to solicit and award on a sole source basis under the statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition, 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements to Federal Prison Industries DBA: UNICOR, 3301 Leestown Rd, Lexington, KY 40511-8702 for the procurement and installation of office furniture. The furnishing and installation of this furniture is needed to update and expand existing UNICOR product. UNICOR furniture can only be updated by UNICOR product. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this product is 337214. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotations and there will not be a solicitation issued for this requirement. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. Responses must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offerors bona fide capability to provide these items by 1600 HRS CST, Saturday, 19 September 2009.
