II.3) SHORT DESCRIPTION OF NATURE AND QUANTITY OR VALUE OF SUPPLIES OR

development partner to deliver the regeneration of the Dollis Valley
housing estate in Barnet.
Dollis Valley Estate was built in the late 1960s and early 1970s in the
Underhill Ward to the south of Chipping Barnet and overlooking the Dollis
Valley, which is designated Green Belt between Barnet and Totteridge. The
core site area is some 9.7ha in size but proposals could consider the
impact and opportunities presented within the site's immediate context.
The estate has been declining for many years and it is felt that,
currently it does not exploit the attributes of its site and location nor
does it offer sufficient choices of tenure to allow residents to progress
on the housing journey towards home ownership.
The regeneration will provide a range of affordable housing options as
well as homes for sale. Some masterplanning exercises have been undertaken
on the site over the last 7 years but developers will be required to
produce their solutions for the regeneration of the estate. The selected
private sector development partner should work together with a RSL partner
who will be responsible for the management of the completed affordable
housing. A management plan and structure will be required for the entire
regenerated estate. Existing units are currently managed by Barnet Homes,
the Arms Length Management Organisation serving London Borough of Barnet's
Council Housing stock.
Division into lots: no.
