range of catering services for staff and visitors at new County Council
offices in Horsham, West Sussex. There are currently projected to be up to
about 800 staff to be based at these offices; and there will also be a
training and conference facility for up to 200-350 delegates; and beverage
and refreshments will be required for other ad hoc meetings. It is also
anticipated that catering may be required for other events such as civil
weddings and other hospitality within or outside of the regular office
hours.

VI.2) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This is a non-mandatory OJEU contract
notice for a Part B Serviceand is not subject to the full requirements of
the EU Procurement Directives.
It is being placed for advertising purposes only.
Suppliers will be expected to deliver services that demonstrate a Best
Value approach as defined by the government.
Public Liability (including products liability)Insurance and Employers
Liability Insurance of a minimum of 10 000 000 GBP will be required.
West Sussex County Council is a Public Authority within the meaning of the
Freedom of Information Act 2000 and all correspondence received will be
dealt with in accordance with the Act.
The Contracting Authority will enter into the contract for itself and on
behalf of other public bodies which are "contracting authorities" within
the meaning of the Public Contracts Regulations 2006 and which exist or
are established or otherwise exercise some or all of their statutory
functions within the administrative county of West Sussex OR which belong
as at the date of this Contract to the Improvement and Efficiency South
East (IESE, formerly the South East Centre of Excellence) OR the Central
Buying Consortium as necessary (the "Relevant Public Bodies"), and any
such Relevant Public Body shall be entitled, with the prior written
consent of the Authority, to access and use the contract on the same or
substantially the same terms and conditions as agreed with the Contracting
Authority.
The Contracting Authority intends to use an eTendering system in this
procurement exercise and reserves the right to use a reverse auction.
