The project includes but is not limited to the following Work: The post office flooring project must be phased to allow for continious operations of the Post Office. This is the first phase of a larger Post Office flooring replacement project. It will complete the installation of new flooring in an area that has the heaviest cart traffic in corridor to the elevators. This will require the removal of some partitions to allow a path for use during the construction phase of this project. It is imperative that the operations of the Post Office are not interupted by the work. It will be necessary to coordinate with the Post Office representative throughout the course of construction to allow uninterupted Post Office operations. This can be handled through the GSA Building Manager. Flooring, asbestos mastic, wood blocks and existing concrete topping will be removed and replaced with new light weight concrete topping and new floor covering.
