THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W9124R-09-T-1085.

Sole Source: The United States Army Contracting Command, Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC), MICC Center Yuma, U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Yuma, Arizona, intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with Vaisala, Inc., 194 South Taylor Avenue, Louisville, Colorado 80027-3024. This will be a commercial acquisition using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 8.405 Ordering Procedures for Federal Supply Schedules. The North American Classification System (NAICS) codes 334519 with a size standard of 500 employees. This contract will consist of two (2) Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001, Quantity of 1240, Unit of Issue: Each, Description: Radiosondes P/N: R92-SGPD-Dry Battery and CLIN 0002, Quantity 1240, Unit of Issue: Each, Description: Radiosondes P/N: R92-SGPD-Dry Battery. Award for this requirement will in accordance with FAR Part 8, Required Sources of Supply and Services. The Radiosondes are anticipated to be awarded under Vaisala, Inc. GSA contract GS-25F-6029D (Expires 30 Nov 2010). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. In order to protect proprietary information and prevent the unintentional releasing of guarded information all interested firms must conduct their own research regarding the specifications of the above listed requirement. Responses other than the above source may identify their interest and capabilities to perform the requirement by submitting a proposal via email or facsimile with complete mailing address, point of contact, phone number, facsimile number, business size and shall be clearly marked with solicitation number W9124R-09-T-1085.
